Sending You A Prayer....

Morning all,

The sun is shining and looks set to be a lovely day which is definitely welcome after having rain this last couple of days!

I would like to share with you my recent crafty make....

This card has been made for a lovely work colleague who last week took a phone call where he was told his 3 year old daughter has a brain tumour, they took her in immediately and operated but she now faces a long road to recovery so I put together this card to let Paul & his family know that we are all thinking of them and sending little prayers.

My fabby Grand Calibur has played a bit part in helping me make this card! Other than my sentiment and bling everything has been cut using my Calibur. I recently treated myself to some of the Spellbinders M-Bossabilities, decorative edges & inserts and WOW what fab results they give!!

The base of my card is an 8x8 and from my stash, I didn't want a completely white on white card so hunted through my stash of Adorable Scorables from Hunkydory and found a lovely pale shade of pink that would just lift the whiteness. I cut my layers to size and then using my 'Valor M-Bossability' embossed just the bottom half of my top layer. To hide where the embossing starts I used by classic edge B & classic edge A dies to create the lovely strip across the centre of the card.

I can not begin to tell you the detail of embossing these folders give!

My flowers were all done using my Marianne Creatables and the particular set I used was LR0128!

I assembled the flowers using my trusty Pinfalir glue gel (a must have for any craft box) and then finished my card by adding the lovely little gems and sentiment which is from the very talented Paulette over at TLC Creations.

I am so pleased with the way this card turned out.....Smiles!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Sassy Cheryl - Anything Goes
Little Darlings - Pastels
Cute Card Thursday - Spring Flowers
Prairie Fairy - Anything Goes
Wags N Whiskers - Anything Goes

          Hugs....
