An 'Oh So Huggable' Sneak Peak..............

Evening all,

It has been an absolute age since I last posted and my sincere apologies...... I just don't know where my time goes at the moment. I wish for Friday to hurry along every Monday when I go to work and when Friday finally does land on the doorstep I blink my eyes and the weekend has zipped by LOL

I thought I would share with you a sneak peak of an adorable kit that will be hitting the store very soon.

It will be apart of a super meaga bundle before been released as an individual kit and believe me it's a mega bundle you don't want to be missing.

Evening all,

Wow certainly been a while since my last post!!! Where does time go?

Work is keeping me quite busy at the moment so my apologies for my quietness....

I would like to share 2 cards with you tonight.... The first was one by request!

I love doing cards like this as it makes them so personal. This was for a work colleague and it was for his girlfriend 's birthday from their son! I have made him one for each occasion since the little one was born and I love the challenge of coming up with something new each time and not only that but I get to see the little one grow through the photo's :)

Now my second card to show you was one of the girls on our darts team who has recently given birth to an adorable little boy.... We have signed it from the darts team and popped some vouchers inside.

Help for Krafty Karen.....

Morning all,

Can I ask that you all please take a little time to read this post!

A very dear crafting cyber friend is in need of some help getting the medical treatment she well and truly deserves and we are asking if you could all please do a little bit to help :)

Some of you may or may not know Krafty Karen

I have known Karen for just a couple of years when she became a customer over at my store Paper Creator. We got talking by email after Karen kindly offered to make up samples for the site and now we have become very good friends a rarely a day goes by where we don't have a chat!

Karen is an amazing woman who is very modest, a great inspiration in the crafting world and an amazing FRIEND!

Karen has suffered constant pain over this last couple of years and has struggled to get doctors to listen to her symptoms and was at one point made to feel as though it was all in her head & imagination, this was until a year ago when Karen collapsed and taken to hospital. Finally tests were done and a diagnosis given and we all honestly thought there was light at the end of the tunnel! After many appointments with doctors, consultants and no joy Karen saw her pain management consultant who agreed that she was in need of an epidural in her neck which would help to relieve the pain.

Unfortunately Karen received a call last week advising that her pain management consultant has gone on to long term sick and all his waiting lists cancelled - you can imagine how devastating this news was for Karen!!

For a little more about Karen's health problems here are a few of her own words...

I have Degeneration of the C spine... (My neck) The disks which are damaged by change so far are;-

C4/5 C5/6 C6/7. I also have narrowing to the Exit Foramina which is causing root nerve compression - all of this causes a whole host of nasties for me, not least of which is the pins & needles, numbness to my limbs, loss of use and weakness to my arm, hand, and leg. Black outs, dizzy spells, headaches, loss of vision to my right eye and so many other problems they are too many to mention here.

The biggest thing I live with day to day is the sheer level of constant pain. The pain I have is in my neck, my shoulders, my arm, partly in my back, and in my leg too.

I also get a lot of pain to the back of my skull because of the problems with my neck. I suffer from paralyses and have good and bad days with this.

I also suffer from something called Complicated Migraine, which causes separate issues of it's own, but this is being managed with medication. But it does mean that I am unable to take normal analgesic or over the counter pain relief.

So I go day to day without any pain relief at all.

I have been waiting for such a long time for an Epidural injection in my neck, to give me some relief to my symptoms, which the hospital have just put back - and I am now on an "active waiting list" - I am still awaiting a referral to a London Spinal Specialist - I have been waiting for this referral for a long time now, and again, this appointment keeps getting knocked back.

I am currently trying to raise the funds to visit a private consultant, so that I can get some straight, honest, unbiased answers on exactly what my problem is and what my options are for getting it sorted out., I also want to be able to have the Epidural done if I can raise enough money for this.

I am so desperate to be able to do things with my children again. The worst thing this summer has not been having one single day out with my kiddies. It's made me feel like I've failed them some how.

It is now two and a half years since these symptoms started, and a year since my diagnosis and I am still right at square one for getting any help. I am still suffering daily with no pain relief. I am still fighting to see the right consultant who is willing to help me and give me an honest answer with regards to what procedure is needed.

The only consultant who was honest enough to tell me my neck is in really bad shape, and that I need to go to London, and that I will need a series of operations in my lifetime, has just taken long term sick leave. He was my pain management consultant, and this is the reason why I have now been knocked back yet again, and I am now still waiting for my long awaited Epidural in my neck..

This is why I have been selling some of my crafting stuff in the hope of raising some funds to go and see a private consultant.

The thought of waiting maybe another year to be seen is unbearable

It seems to just go round and round and round in circles until I am right back where I started..

Karen took up designing a few months back to help keep her mind of the pain & has been a bit of a life saver and you can find her wonderful downloadable card kits both on Paper Creator & Paper Craft Kits. Karen has designed some of the most wonderful kits and all profits from the sales of these kits towards helping get private funding.

So this is where we ask all you crafty people to please spare just a few pounds as profits from each kit sold will go towards the funds required to enable Karen to seek private consultation and finally start to get the help and pain relief she truly deserves.

Thinking Of You.......

Evening all,

Tonight I thought I would share with you a card I made recently for a special person!

Just over 3 weeks ago we received a phone call informing us that our Sister In Law had been diagnosed with cancer. Last week Marina was admitted to hospital after been advised she was not strong enough for treatment and sadly passed away just a few days later.

I made this card and took it to the hospital when we visited last week but Marina never awoke to see it :(

My apologies for such a bad photo!

R.I.P Marina, now at peace and no longer suffering! Never forgotten and always in our hearts.

A Card to Share :)

Evening all,

Today has been very wet and I was very unfortunate to be stood outside this morning as the heavens opened and well the words 'drowned rat' sprang to mind... He he!!

Anyways I thought I would share with you the birthday card I made for my better half... Tuesday just gone saw him turn the big 40! Now he is mad on his fishing but it seems every card I have made for him in the past has been fishing related so went for a change of scenery this time and chose to make a card based on his other passion which is washing his pride and joy..... his car :) and what better way than to use the delight Forever Friends!!

The image is from the very first Forever Friends Triple Disc set that was released and so are the backing papers! Wanting to make an 8x8 card I took the papers and main image in to my editing software, re sized as needed and printed them off on to ICE Duo Matte 220gsm card (I love this card, brings the images to life and keeps the colors very vibrant). I printed the main image several times to allow me to decoupage him and love the depth I managed to gain all thanks to my trusty Pinflair Glue Gel. I finished the card with a lovely sentiment from the ever talented Paulette over at TLC Creations.

Jase was over the moon with his card and so was I :)

Just Because......

Evening all,

Here is a little sneak peak of a new kit that will be available soon in the store...... Now I don't usually get much craft time these days with work etc but managed to squeeze in a few hours on Saturday and had a play with some new kits that will be coming very soon and well here is the outcome of one of them :)

I wasn't going to showcase any of the cards until they had been released but I just couldn't keep this one to myself...... And I am sure you can see why :)

Can you now see why I wanted to share.... Smiles......

I love the layout of this card and the colour combination and with several greetings within the kit you really can make this card for many occasions but I chose 'Just Because' for this one making it extremely versatile.

Challenge #1 - For the Men

Oh wow I am super excited this morning..... Today see's the start of our very first challenge :)

Yup that's right we have started an all new challenge and our first one is all about the men.... this topic is always a tough one so thought we would get it out the way :)

As this is our very first challenge we would like to quickly get the rules out of the way, who wants to be bored with them when there is crafting to be done!! You can read the short and sweet rules HERE.

And finally our next card is from Lady Anne, using the "Ahoy Shelf Card Kit" Lady Anne has made the shelf card as it but then taking some of the elements from the kit made a matching card to co ordinate perfectly.

Wedding Bliss.......

Evening all,

It has been a while since I blogged a creation... So here I am back again with my latest creation :)
This card was made for a request and I really did struggle with inspiration to start with as they specifically said nothing cutesy but after hours of looking I finally came up with the following....

For the card I decided to use an 8x8" as my base, first time using this size card but they seem all the rage at the moment and I do like my square cards and after making this one I love 8x8 cards :)

The graphics all came from Nit Wit's "With this Ring" collection, they are just a dream to work with. I took the graphics in to my editing software and re sized to fit my 8x8 card. Firstly I matted the main topper on to silver mirri card (which pic doesn't show very well) and applied straight to card base, I then printed another copy of the main topper and cut out just the white sections with rings and gave a bit of depth by using my Pinflair glue gel.

To finish the card I cut out a couple of flowers again from Nit Wit's "With This Ring" collection and edge them with glitter to give a bit of spark and used Pinflair glue gel to give depth. Finally using my Craftworks Candi (which I am now addicted too) I added them to the corners.

Inspired......

Evening all,

Our very talented design team member Karen has reached 100 followers on her blog and to celebrate is currently hosting a challenge which you can read all about here.

To join in with the celebrations both the Crafty Gals and myself thought it would be fun to take a little inspiration from our Karen.... OK a large chunk of inspiration really and come up with a couple of new kits for the store.

The inspiration comes from WINNING "Colour Me" challenge entry Karen entered over on Sassy Cheryl's blog which you can see here. Sassy Cheryl later released the coloured version of this whacky bunny using the colours based upon Karen's winning entry so we popped along to Sassy Cheryl's store and got our mits on this great little character and turned him in to two adorable kits which you can now find over at Paper Creator at a reduced price for the duration of the "100 Followers" challenge.

We hope you like what we did and we look forward to popping by your blogs to check out your creations for this amazing challenge.

The next 2 cards I am about to showcase are both sneak peaks of kits coming very soon to the site.... I have been itching to share these with you but didn't want to share too soon :) they will be available from the weekend in an all new but totally amazing pick of the week and these are just tasters....

Firstly a huge thank you to Karen for taking the time to make these cards and allowing me to bring you sneak peaks, she really is amazing and don't know what I would do with out her!! I would also like to say a huge thank you to the every talented Crafty Gals... They really do work hard behind the scenes to bring us these amazing kits.

This totally adorable little bear is part of an all new design & style from the amazing Crafty Gals and it is called 'Butterfly Bear' and is apart of the all new slider easel range soon to be hitting the store.

This kit really is something different, the colours are gorgeous and Karen has made a fab job putting this one together for us.. Wouldn't you agree?? As usual the kits comes with everything you need to make the complete card and yup that's right even the matching envelope!!

Just look at the detail!!

And best of all it folds flat to fit into the coordinating envelope :)

I hope you love this card as much as I do? Can not wait for it to be released :)

Good Catch...

This is one of my favourite images!! Certainly one that is very much suited for my better half being the avid fisherman he is :) i'm not complaining though his hobby gives me peace and quiet lol.

I have to say a HUGE thank you to Karen for making this fab card.

I love the colours in this kit and they certainly do bring the card to life and the little fish certainly is very cheeky looking :). Again this card is great for the men in your life and can be used for birthday's etc.

Can you see the sparkle on this adorable bear?? Only our Karen would think of making him sparkle he he...

What I really like about this card is it's just a bit of matting and layering with the bear and little fishy decoupaged but such great results!!

Aye Aye Captain!!

Firstly I must apologise... this is the first of several posts I am about to make! Our wonderful Karen has been busy behind the scenes making us some great samples and it is only now am I getting them up to show you all!! Don't worry I have given myself a slap on the wrist lol

This first card is from the 'Sail Away 6x6 Card Kit' which you can find here.
Even though the kit was designed for the very popular 6x6" card blank Karen has shown with this card just how versatile they can be :)

Here Karen has made this kit into an easel card and wow what a wonderful job done!!
Each set comes with backing paper & panels sheet, topper & layers sheet & matching envelope and as you can see Karen has taken various bits of the kit and used it to put together this wonderful easel card.

This lovely card is perfect for the men and we all know how difficult it can be to make cards with males in mind ;)

All's that is needed is card from your stash and a little imagination and there you have a great card that well is very suitable for many occasions.

Happy Mother's Day

Firstly I would like to wish all the Mum's out there a very Happy Mother's Day :)

I would like to share with you the card I made for my mum this Mother's Day!!

Now believe it or not but this is the first year I have actually given my Mum a handmade card!! I know bad isn't it.... call myself a crafter... LOL. See normally I am so disorganized that every year I always find myself nipping to the shops and buying one!! I have oodles and oodles of craft stuff yet I buy one.. Well not this year he he... I was still a little disorganized as I didn't actually make this card until yesterday and I am still not completely happy with it but my Mum loved it and well I suppose that is all that matters!!

The main image is from the lovely Pam West, taking it in to my editing software I re sized to work with a 6x6" card and made the pyramage layers. The main backing paper is from the lovely Donna over at Bearly Mine Designs. If you have not seen Donna's papers already then you must pop over and take a look here. She has some gorgeous sets and you will always find a paper to suit your project over there.

To finish the card I used some flowers from my stash then added little gems to the centers!! Think I am a little addicted to flowers lol.. never used them until recently but wow they can certainly finish a card :)

Mum also received a lovely bouquet of flowers which sadly I forgot to take a picture off and 2 pairs of shoes :)

Best Mummy In The World!

After a little rain this morning we finally have sunshine again :)

My next card was made by request for a good friend at work, he wanted a lovely Mother's Day card using a photo of his son..... Aint he adorable :)

The main card was from my stash and the gorgeous blue card I used for matting is from the lovely Hunkdory range. I took the photo in to my photo editing software and popped it in to a round frame with what looks like an inked edge and the sentiment was also created on PC. The backing paper and Forever Friends bear were from the FF Triple CD collection, with editing software I resized them to fit my card.

To finish the card I added some lovely paper flowers (also from my stash) and added a little gem to the centers.

I hope Mummy likes here card :)

Where Flowers Bloom!!

Sunday already... Where does the time go and to be robbed of an hour too.. he he.. I completely forgot the clocks went forward last night!!

On to my card... As soon as I saw this image I fell in love with it. It's just stunning and is from the very talented Paulette over at "Create with TLC" and would you believe this is actually a freebie and to get your hands on it you can click here.

This image it just perfect for a stunning black & white card!!

I have used a blank 6x6 card, black card and white card from my stash. I took the image in to my editing programme and resized to fit my card and added a black border.

Simply matted some black card stock straight on to card base then took the main image and cut out and matted on to white card stock.

The flower itself has been decoupaged (printed several copies of image) and then finished the flower by giving it a light coating of glitter using my spray and sparkle which you can get from Crafters Companion.

Unfortunately the picture does not show the lovely sparkle on the flower :(

To finish the card I added a lovely white ribbon and some gems both of which were from my stash.

My inspiration for the card came from a very good friend, unfortunately she has not been well recently and I think this sentiment just says it all "Where flowers bloom so does hope".

Bubbles of Love!

Yayyyy it's the weekend..... big smiles LOL

Last night I was playing around with some images when I came across this one and wow what a little cutie :)
I have fallen in love with this image so decided to put it in to a kit so this is a little sneak peak at what's to come...

The image if from Annie Lang's Bubble Bath Babies and you can find the collection here.
Inside the collection you will find some gorgeous images, frames, papers & lots more :) the main backing paper was from Bearly Mine Designs. Donna creates some fantastic papers and you will always find something to suit your project, you can check out all the gorgeous papers by clicking here.

To finish the card I used one of Paulette's lovely sentiments. As soon as I saw this sentiment I knew it was the one for this kit :) it is from the "Anytime is Bubble Time" collection which you can find here.

Butterfly Kisses....

With the task of making a card for a dear friend to brighten their day I thought this would be perfect... The vibrant colours and delightful little butterfly are enough to make anyone smile :) certainly made me smile!

For this card I used the "Butterfly Kisses" kit which can be found here.

I printed the backing paper, topper and decoupage layers from the kit on to super smooth card. Once I had cut all the layers of the butterfly I decided a little sparkle was required so with my quickie glue pen I went round the edges of the butterflies wings on all layers and added some crystal glitter. Just enough sparkle but not too much if you ever can have too much he he :) Unfortunately the picture does not show the lovely subtle sparkle.

The main card along with pink & green card are from my stash. I also added some flowers (again from my stash) and finished them by adding some stickles glitter glue in the centers.

I am finally taking the plunge and will be entering this card in to the following challenges:

Forever Friends!!

Morning all,

Well the sun has stopped shining :( and we now have gray skies!!

I wanted to share with you a card I recently made for a very special friend whom I have never met in person. Although we have never met I am hoping one day we will have the chance to. This person is amazing and will do anything to help anyone and that's what makes her so special. Unfortunately she is suffering will ill health at the moment and I really do wish I lived closer so I could stop by and help out but it is not to be so I decided to make up a little package and pop it in the post in hope that it would brighten her day :)

The parcel contain various bits and bobs which I knew she would be able to use and this lovely little card which was just my way of saying thank you for everything she has done.

Recently I caught the glitter bug and I know this person loves glitter too so thought I would combine it in the card, this is also the first time I have used flowers too - for the middles I used my stickles glitter glue... Yup more glitter lol, can't wait to receive my Spray & Sparkle I recently ordered. Lookout everyone he he!!

Anyways, I just wanted to share this card with you all :)

I just love these triple easel's!! Within this kit there are the lovely verse messages for either side of the main topper but as always thinking of you the Crafty Gals have included blank ones just in case you wish to add your own messages.

Even the inside of this card has been thought off!

Toppers Galore

Evening all,

My apologies for not posting for so long - life is just hectic at the moment and well I am sure quite sure where all my time is disappearing too...

Anyways our lovely DT members have been super busy again and here are a couple of cards :)

All were made by the lovely Carol using various topper sets from the site. Each topper set comes complete with topper sheet which has various sized toppers and a coordinating backing paper and all for the same price as a bar of chocolate!!

This first card was made using the lovely "Live For The Joy" Topper Set which you can find here.

This is one of my favourite topper sets, I just lovely the simplicity of it and it can be used for so many occasions.

This next card was made using the cute "Easter Joy Pink" Topper Set which you can find here.
I love the colours on this card - very bold and springy :)

This last card was made using the lovely "Flower Spray" Topper Set which can be found here.
Again this is another of my favourites :)

I just had to share this stunning card with you.... Yet again Karen has come up top trumps with card and all's I could say when the pics dropped in my inbox was WOW WOW & more WOW. I think I actually replied back to Karen with 7 or 8 WOW's LOL.

This gorgeous kit if from the Crafty Gals and will be available very soon over at the store!
Just using the elements from the kit, a Martha Stewart punch & some of Crafter's Companion spray & sparkle which I must get for myself this card really doesn't need anymore.

With a sweet poem this card is a must for Mother's Day!

A ten minute make!

A ten minute make, yup that's right ten minutes!! For this card Karen wanted to show how lovely the topper kits can be with no fuss or bling and just using good old fashioned card stock. Although Karen is quietly sobbing at the thought of not using any ribbons or even glitter we think she has done a marvelous job!! He He

This lovely topper set can be found by clicking here and costs less than a cup of coffee whilst your out shopping! Just had to include this line...Thanks Karen :)

So with just a little card stock (what a lovely colour too) and some mirri card you could be creating cards like this in just ten minutes leaving you with enough toppers for at least 3 more cards and backing paper for either an A5 card or 2 smaller cards. Great value for money!

Flutterby Butterflies!!

Look what fluttered their way in to my inbox :)

Ooooooh these make me feel all summery!! Karen left me with a huge smile when I saw these pictures in my inbox and all's I can say is stunning....

I just love these cards and the colours are perfect!!

Both cards were made from the "Butterfly" toppers set which you can find here.
The base cards were using Crafter's Companion Centura Pearlescent card pack, the only other extra's used were some stickles glitter glues, Martha Stewart punches and a little ribbon.

I love the stickles glitter glue and how Karen has used them to leave the butterfly trails :)

All this from one download with leftovers to make possibly another 2 cards. Not bad eh?

Niece's 16th Birthday!

WOW two cards in one day... Must have had my crafting head on LOL..

My niece turns sweet 16 tomorrow.. I can remember when she was born and here she is all grown up now!
Lauren isn't the typical girlie girl so was a little stumped as to what to put on her card... Anyways I was browsing the Aimee Asher's site and found this adorable kit from Kizzy Dizzy and thought it was perfect!!

This bear is just gorgeous!! If you would like to get your hands on the kit you can do so here.

Sunday Crafting!

I was asked to make a card for a Led Zeppelin fan, now whilst card requests don't normally scare me this one did!! I hate no idea what to do!! So after a couple hours of searching Google and other sites I finally came up with this.....

The image was black with their symbols in a very pale silver, wanted to make the card pop I matted the main image on to some silver mirri card. Having printed off the main image a couple of times I then cut out a rectangle around just the symbols and again matted on to silver mirri card then repeating the same just this time make it a little smaller. Just draws the eye in to the middle of the card and makes it pop!!

Then found an image of a guitar, printed a couple of time then cut out. The base layer is matted on to silver mirri just to give some definition then decoupaged the guitar. Finished the card by adding a silver peel off greeting and adding some silver highlights on the symbols.

Although feeling rather petrified about making this card and I am pleased with the results :)

More Petal Pixies!

Now would you believe it, not content with making just one card from a topper set Karen has gone and made two... yup two cards!!

Again this one has come from the "Petal Pixies" topper set which you can find here.

I totally adore this card!!! I am a huge fan of square cards and I think the colours on this one just go so well together.

Just a 5" square card, printable vellum & stickles glue and hey presto you have a lovely card.

The backing paper used is a free download from Crafter's Companion which gives you a sneak peak of the kind of papers that can be found on their Flower Fairies CD and to finish Karen has used a couple of bow and a lovely border punch.

A huge thank you to Karen for sharing with us the gorgeous card.

Petal Pixies!

Are you ready for the next showcase from Karen? Well here it is and WOW what a lovely one too...

For this card Karen has used the totally adorable "Petal Pixies" topper set which you can find here.
This set comes with A4 topper sheet which contains various sized toppers & a coordinating backing paper.

Using good quality card stock Karen has made a pop out stepper card then taking elements from the topper sheet with some stickles glitter glue she really has made the little pixie look adorable.

Finished with a lovely flower ribbon and a sentiment which was printed I can honestly say job well done :)

What's more amazing is this card only took 20mins to make...

Silly Monkey & Pansy Delights!!

Wow just look at these... Yup more lovely samples dropped in to my inbox from Carol :)

The first of these cards was made using the "Silly Monkey" decoupage set which you can find here.

Using the backing paper included with a little coordinating card stock this fun little chap will make anyone smile and is definitely one that can be used for all occasions. As well as the decoupage and backing papers you also get insert, envelope & a sentiment sheet which includes a whopping 26 various sentiments.

For the next card Carol has used the "Pansy" decoupage set which you can find here.

This is a really versatile set that can be used for anything from birthday's, mother's day to just letting someone know you are thinking of them and the set comes complete with everything you need from decoupage sheet, insert to the matching envelope and not forgetting the sentiment sheet which gives your 26 various sentiments.

Look at what I found in my inbox :) this lovely card was made by Carol and what a fine job done!

To make this card Carol has used the lovely "Butterfly Kisses" pop out stepper card which you can find here.

Just printed on to good quality card stock and there you have a quick easy card. Either use just the topper or for that extra bit of oomph use the decoupage layers for a 3D look. This kit also comes with matching envelope :)

Aye Aye Captain!

For Karen's next showcase card she has used the lovely "Aye Aye Captain" card toppers set.

This is a special card for a little boy named Matthew who was sadly diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour at the age of just 22 months. You can read more about Matthew's story here.

Matthew's favorite colours are blue & red and I think this card is perfect.. And I am sure it will put a smile on Matthew's face when he receives it in the post.

Cupcake Heaven!!

Who loves cupcakes? I know I do :)

This lovely card was made by Karen and the first of the showcase's this week.

To make this lovely card Karen has used the yummy "Cupcake Card Toppers Set" from the store which comes complete with 1 sheet of various sized toppers & a coordinating backing paper. You can find this topper set here.

Karen set herself a challenge to make this card in less than half and yup she did it. From opening the download, choosing the paper, printing the sheets to popping the card together took just 25 mins, yep that's right 25 mins. Now it would have taken me that long to choose what paper to print on LOL.

Card stock and ribbon were from Karen's stash & sentiment used was from TLC Creations. Using the Martha Stewart scallop dot punch Karen created a lovely border, then finished by decoupaging the top layer and giving it a good old spray of iridescent glitter spray from Crafters Companion.

What a scrummy card and a huge thank you to Karen for sharing with us :)

Finally played with my Pro Markers :o)

Well it's Sunday and I thought what better to do than to get out my SWALK stamps and pro markers. Now I have had these for several months but having never being a stamper was a little nervous in case I completely fluffed it up.... I have only stamped and coloured 2 images but I absolutely LOVE them, the pro markers are just a dream to colour with :o)

Now I have tried stamping in the past using watercolour pencils but just could not get to grips with them and since have always being put of stamping but a big thank you for the pro markers as I now feel like I can stamp and get great effects!! Here are the 2 images I have coloured... OK not perfect but remember this is only my first time.

God only knows why they have decided to upload the wrong way!! But you can still see what I have done! The shading is a little to be desired but I am quite chuffed with the results :o)

It's finally Friday and that means one thing...... it's the weekend :o) and boy am I glad to be saying that!!

For those that know me you will know that last week I had a tumble down the stairs which result in severely spraining my ankle... dosy me!! I spent 6 days resting up completely and returned to work on Monday and what a long week it has been. Unfortunately my ankle is still very swollen and now have the colours of the rainbow on various parts of my foot from green, blue to purple :o)

Even though I saw my GP when it happened and was told it was a severe sprain I have since seen our occupational health nurse at work who recommends that I take a trip to A&E to have it x-rayed as she is not confident that it is just a sprain :o( I have decided against going tonight simply because it is Friday which normally means mayhem for any hospital.

Anyways there is lots to do over the weekend along with more resting and a little crafting :o) bought a lovely Hunkydory craft kits so will be having a little play and will finally be getting those pro markers out.
